Barney Koumis

Barney Koumis is something of a legend on the UK rockin' scene. He has been DJing since the early 70s and can boast one of the finest rhythm & blues collections in the country. As well as DJing regularly in Las Vegas, Barney has also played frequently at London clubs such as The Frat Shack, Lady Luck, The Stag O Lee and Grindhouse.

Although Barney's unrivalled, personal record collection covers many genres, at Right On! you can expect to hear him playing 100% Black rockin' rhythm & blues — guaranteed to set the floor on fire!

On top of his DJing, Barney runs No Hit Records — a record label and mail order / distribution company specialising in rock 'n' roll from the 1950s to the present day... from jump blues, rockabilly, garage punk, country and psyche to anything they like basically!

No Hit Records has been around since 1987, releasing big beat blasts from the likes of Ronnie Dawson, Big Sandy and The Planet Rockers. Find them online at:
